Arriving by Train
Varenna can be reached from Milan Central Station in approximately one hour by train.
Sweet Escape is around five minutes on foot from Varenna train station. The final part of the route follows an uphill cobbled section, so guests traveling with heavy luggage should plan accordingly.

Arriving by Ferry
The Varenna ferry terminal is only a few minutes from the house.
Regular boat connections make Varenna a convenient starting point for exploring the central area of Lake Como. Taxi boats with or without a driver can also be hired near the ferry terminal.

Sweet Escape is close to Varenna's lakefront, restaurants and main services.
The nearby Lido di Varenna offers lake access together with sun umbrellas, deckchairs, a bar and a restaurant. From the house, guests can also continue uphill toward Vezio and its medieval castle.

Vezio Castle and the Via del Viandante
Sweet Escape is ideally positioned for guests who want to explore the surrounding area on foot. The road beside the house leads toward the medieval Vezio Castle, while the Via del Viandante offers walking routes along the eastern side of Lake Como.
